We recognise inclusive enterprise development as a cornerstone of sustainable economic transformation in Africa.
Our approach is rooted in the belief that equitable access to finance, markets, technology, and skills can unlock the full potential of women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups.
We work to close opportunity gaps through targeted technical assistance, tailored financial mechanisms, and the creation of enabling ecosystems that foster innovation and entrepreneurship.
Our initiatives are designed to incubate and scale grassroots innovations, promote social enterprises, and strengthen climate-smart Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)a cross value chains. We collaborate with cooperatives, SACCOs, and informal groups to formalise enterprise structures and improve access to credit and markets.
Globally, we draw lessons from inclusive business models and blended finance solutions that prioritize shared value creation. Regionally, we tailor interventions to support community-based enterprises across agriculture, energy, health, waste management, and trade. By advancing inclusive enterprise, we aim to reduce inequality, stimulate green job creation, and foster resilient, self-sustaining economies throughout Africa.
